Longtime Oakley resident Katherine Piccinini has officially filed to run for Congress in District 10 — bringing a proven record of community leadership, public service, and results. Coming from a law enforcement family, Katherine believes in honoring those who serve — police, firefighters, military, veterans, and first responders — while keeping communities safe and accountable. Her priorities include protecting children, supporting parents, honoring farmers, securing borders, and ensuring opportunity for every hardworking American. She believes government must work for people, not special interests — and
that transparency, accountability, and common sense must replace division and dysfunction. Her campaign is rooted in the belief that Americans deserve clean air, safe food, pure water, safe communities, affordable living, fiscal responsibility, free speech, and a government that listens. PUTTING THE PEOPLE FIRST has been her heart since 2022. A mother of four and grandmother of five, Piccinini knows firsthand the challenges families face. In 2022, she launched a grassroots write-in campaign that earned over 1,600 votes in just 20 days — the strongest Congressional write-in performance in Northern California in over a decade. In 2024, running on the ballot, she received more than 122,000 votes, the highest total for any non- incumbent congressional candidate in the region. Piccinini has served as President of East Contra Costa Republican Women, helped found the Eastern Contra Costa Republican Assembly, and served on multiple county and state party leadership boards. More importantly, she has spent years listening to constituents, supporting community organizations, and standing up for working families. Katherine Piccinini is running to restore trust in leadership, protect freedoms, and ensure future generations inherit a nation of opportunity, security, and hope for the American Dream once more. She pledges to be your voice in Washington, and she wants to hear from you. Together, we can stand as neighbors, not partisans, united in one mission: PUTTING THE PEOPLE FIRST.

I LOVE AMERICA. I believe we are still in a battle to reclaim and hold fast to this nation from those who would destroy all that we hold dear. America is precious to us, but far more of a treasure are our children and grandchildren ~ they are our legacy and inheritance. The gift we should leave them is that gift of FREEDOM. As a mother of 4 and Grandmother of 5, when I look into their eyes, I say, “You are worth fighting for,” and so I stand before you today. I will fight for our children to ensure this gift of freedom.

The American Dream is slipping away, and this new generation will never know the history of this nation, the priceless blood for our liberty; if we don’t teach our children to love America, they will not fight for her. We cannot allow this.

We need to restore the family unit, lower the cost of living, and keep our jobs here. Life must be affordable again. I will support our police, fire, veterans, and farmers.

I will not support the indoctrination of our children or the mutilation of their bodies. I will demand safe food, pure water, and clean air. The border must stay closed so America can regroup its resources. Our children deserve a safe and free America, our fellow citizens a chance to dream again, and strong leaders who will defend this nation against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

I do not consider myself a politician but a stateswoman. My concern will continue to be for the next generation, and I pledge always to Put The People First. My yes will be yes, and my no will be an unwavering no. My heart is for God, Family, Life, and Country. My voice will be one of truth and freedom, and it will be for you. We have an exciting path before us. Please come and join me in this endeavor to uphold America, this Land that we love.

Political and corporate elites have put their interests above those of working families for too long. The American Dream is slipping away as costs rise and wages fall. I believe the American Dream should take precedence over shareholder value. I’ll vote to lower the cost of living, keep jobs here in America, and make life affordable for our youth. My campaign is about restoring economic strength, empowering communities, and building a nation that PUTS THE PEOPLE FIRST.
